Two photographs are woven by hand: a photograph of a body wrapped by hanji in the form of a lotus flower in the Buddhist tradition and a photograph of light entering a studio around the time of a funeral. Images are taken by phones and circulated via text overseas. The woven photos are documented while the sun casts shadows over them. The shadows complete the loops with half-loops protruding from the woven surface.
